Teachers at Westall SC are always seeking to improve their work. To this end, the Westall Institute of Teaching (WIT) has been created. The WIT is an online, interactive program that all teaching staff will work through during 2020. From 2021, all new staff to the school will work through the same program as they are welcomed into the school’s culture.

The WIT ties together many of the important developments that have taken / are taking place at the school. These include:

- The Westall Way
- The introduction of the EDI Instructional Model
- Education Department initiatives, including the Victorian Teaching and Learning (VTL) Model and High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS)
- Use of Compass to support learning
- Common Assessment Tasks (CATs) and Rubrics
- Office365

Westall Secondary College is accredited under the Department of Education and Training’s CRICOS registration (CRICOS provider name and code : Department of Education and Training, 00861K). For further information refer to www.study.vic.gov.au
